  • What type of fabric is the clutch printed on?
Our clutches are printed on a Linen-cotton blend - this makes a perfect mix combining the beautiful texture of Linen, yet with a smoother finish than a 100% linen. Its a dream canvas for street art and enables us to maintain the edgy look captured by both artist and photographer.
  • Product Care
The ink used on our clutches is designed for gentle hand washing in cold water however we do not recommend completely immersing the clutch in water as the different layers of the bag may have different shrinkage rates and this could cause your clutch to become mis-shapen. Shrinkage of the linen is up to 3%. For small marks we recommend sponging your clutch gently with a damp cloth and leaving it to dry completely. Be careful to avoid harsh rubbing and wringing of the fabric which may be damaging to the fabric and the shape of the clutch. In the worst case scenario (such as you spill red wine on your clutch) you could immerse that part of the clutch in cold water and gently squeeze water through the fabric - please note this is untested and you do this at your own risk! Pull back into shape and dry flat. Warm iron with a protective cloth over the surface - do not apply the iron directly to the print. Dry clean using Hydrocarbon (perc free)
  • Custom Clutch - Can I provide you with a photo for a custom order?
Yes Please contact us with your enquiry. You will need to provide a high resolution photo, with the specifications below. Please email Alex at hello@clutch4humankind.com.au if you would like to custom print your clutch. There will be an additional cost of $50 for this service. Photo/Image Specifications: + 300 dpi, JPEG or Tiff File + Image size should be landscape 40cm wide and 23 cm high (portrait photos will not work unless oyu are happy for part of your image to be lost. Rhink of the image as being almost twice as wide as it is high...) + Make sure that the key part of your image is 2cm from the top and bottom edge so that they are not lost within the seam at the top or the curve of the bag at the bottom edge. + The main image should also not be within 1 cm of the sides of the bag (due to sewing seam allowance) and you should also note that due to the shape of the bag at the top left and right corners, you will also not see some of the image. If you need us to handle the resizing of the photo this can be done. A fee will be charged.
